MODULAR ISLAND WITH 2 CONTAINERS OF 105 LITERS
ECOLOGICAL ISLAND composed of 2 modules with a metal base, 5 mm thick, dimensions 47×53 cm, and a lid with 3 slots.
Each module consists of a 105-liter truncated conical container, 80 cm high, with a base diameter of 37 cm and a top diameter of 44 cm, made of polyethylene using the rotational molding technique.
This material, molded in this way, provides high resistance to impacts, aging, and discoloration.
The lid is made of thermoformed ABS and painted, featuring 3 slots: one front and two lateral, each measuring 23.5×9 cm. It is secured to the container body with a triangular insert lock.
The metal bases are treated with cathodic protection and then coated with epoxy powders (for outdoor use, they can also be hot-dip galvanized upon request). They are joined together with a metallic joint measuring 21×6 cm and 5 mm thick.
At both ends of the island, there are two terminal metal wings with a thickness of 5 mm, which make it heavier and more aesthetically pleasing. While it can be secured, it does not require floor anchoring.
