IN-LINE MINI ECOLOGICAL ISLAND WITH 3 CONTAINERS OF 65 / 90 LITERS

The containers that make up the “MINI ECOLOGICAL ISLAND” are made of polyethylene using the ROTATIONAL molding technique. This material, molded in this way, guarantees great resistance to impacts, aging, and discoloration. The rotational plastic molding process means that polymeric materials can be shaped into any form, typically through a heat treatment process.

The polymer base can be natural, such as wax or cellulose, or synthetic, like nylon. The key characteristics of rotational plastic are its high resistance, thermal insulation, and soundproofing properties.

The container has a truncated conical rectangular base, with dimensions at the top of 30×45 cm and a height of 75/90 cm. The lids for the 65/90-liter containers, with handle, porthole, or slot options, are made of thermoformed ABS and then colored with the best two-component paints.

The metallic structure made of hot-dip galvanized tubular steel (80x20x2 mm), which forms the base for the 3 containers in line, acts as the supporting frame for the island, featuring vertical holes to allow floor fixing.

The structure does not support the containers directly; rather, the containers, which can be removed from it, rest on metal crossbars on the ground. This design increases the longevity of the containers, as they do not have to bear the lateral load of heavy collections (e.g., glass), in addition to their own weight.
